Well summer has been great but I wish one thing was different. I wish that summer lasted LONGER. Summer is gone and now school is going to begin in only 13 hours!!! WOW!!! I really think that I will enjoy all of my classes cause I got what I wanted!!! I am especially excited for photography, Spanish and English!!

And a heads up to people I got braces!!! hopefully my teeth will feel better soon!!! <3

Girls Camp!!

I had a blast at Girls Camp. I loved how we didn't have ANY decorations, this year felt so relaxing, and like they said, it truly was a spa for the spirit!! I had so much fun visiting with my friends from other wards. I also had fun scaring girls with a fake bug. For our service project this year we painted fences at Ensign, like I said before I had SO MUCH FUN, spending time with our Royal girls and other wards such as Warden.

I just love my little nephew. He is so cute and can say pretty cool things such as "mon mower" for lawn mower and "mee mee" for movie. We watch the same movie over and over again. Today we were just sitting outside playing with "toysth", toys, and he made me sit and watch him!!!!! Summer is feeling great but i honestly miss school!

We had our basketball camp in Montana at the beginning of this week and I had a blast playing on Varsity with such great girls and GREAT coaches! The bad part is that I broke my Pinkie and have a splint on for 3 weeks!!! Oh well at least I had fun, right?? Next week is our stake dance so it will be fun to dance with this splint on my hand!!!! Anyways right now mom and I are making Pies for Father's Day!!!

I can't believe it!!! I am now a SOPHOMORE! I passed year one, three more years of High School to go, then off to COLLEGE. I have basketball camp this weekend with Dana and we are going to Montana. Well it has been a long time since I last posted and I will now update.
We went to the cabin at Ensign Ranch as the Hebdon Family and I had a blast seeing all of my cousins again. Christmas was great and Brandon and Megan came up. Greg and Adena will be coming shortly! I am so excited for the new years! 2011 is coming SOON!!

The top five things that I am thankful for.
1. I am thankful for my Family- Where would I be without them!!

2. For Motherhood- In family home evening last night we talked about the importance of the priesthood and motherhood. Without one their is no other.

3. The Priesthood- For the service to God and to man!

4. Music- for the joy it brings to listen to GOOD music.

5. School- to gain knowledge!

We did this in school on Monday and i did not put anything that I thought would bring up any religion type of things. I am very grateful for everything that I have.

The scriptures, baby blessing dress, baptism dress, my grandma Rodebacks china painted cup & plate, clothing, books(knowledge) and my testimony of Christ and the prophets and of Joseph Smith. Also many more things I am very grateful for.

SCHOOL
I am doing good in school, my grades are up pretty good. I have read 1070 pages since school started. I am happy with most of my teachers.

We started basketball on Monday!! For the first three days coach said we should give him all that we got to see who will be on what team, and so we all did. The results came back for the teams and I am so lucky to be on VARSITY with Kayla and Cynthia as the Freshman and Lindsey, Moriah, Steph, Maria, as Juniors and Terin as a Senior, plus a couple other girls. The Varsity coach is Mr. Phil Daubel and the Jv coach is DANA!!!!!

I am now a Freshman in HIGH SCHOOL!!! (bringing out the guns :)
I am loving High School. I am doing the best in my math and keyboarding class! I know right, MATH, who would have thought it. I love keyboarding with Peter C.
I am doing good in everything else too.
Volleyball is going good except for the fact that I can't play because I am sick.
I am so excited for Wednesdays mutual, I am teaching the girls how to make a pillow case!!

My week has had its ups and downs for sure.
Monday I started volleyball I am having so much fun! Spiking, bumping and serving is my favorite because 90% of the time i make it over!
On Wednesday we went to the Allreds pond and i stepped on something really sharp and it went deep into my foot. Thursday school started, I can't believe i am a freshman!
Today i was sewing Dana's birthday present and I kind of sewed my thumb twice. I heard Andon coming and i kind of got distracted and so i looked and the next thing i knew my finger was stuck in the needle. i tore my skin on the thumb it is not really bad. It hurt for the first 20 minutes but now it is fine. We think I could possibly have nicked my bone just a little but I don't know! I come out shaking and said " UMM! I kind of sewed my thumb!" Well yes you did! DUH i was so scared. Now I might have to get a tetanus shot! F.U.N. stands for Furiously Unexpected Notice

So many things have been going on in the past week.
First of all Skyler GOT MARRIED to Lisa Quinn Hebdon!!!
The Wedding Reception was awesome I enjoyed helping in the kitchen with new people!
Then Chase, Anthony and I went to Longview with Grandma and Grandpa Rodeback after the Reception and we spent a couple extra days with them. On Wednesday we went to the beach with the Rodeback Family! At our Rodeback Reunion we played Volleyball!!!!
Everyone at the Reunion got sick BUT Thomas and Dana and Auger.
THEN on August 15 my Nephew was born. Ethan Rex Hebdon. I am so excited!!!
That is all that has happened in my week!!

Today we went to the park and had lunch! I had a lot of fun watching Tawny and Brayden play! We packed a lunch(hot dogs and salad) and walked to the park.
We played Scrabble and now we are just doing our own thing. I am doing a sudoku puzzle. I will have to get some pictures posted when we get home and i have my own cord to plug into the computer! Tawny and Brayden heard the son "Hello Seattle" By Owl City and we told them that we are in Seattle and their were totaly SHOCKED! at first they were like "Your teasing!" and we said no we are really in Seattle! Summer is coming and going with this crazy weather that we have had! I love how hot it is getting! We only have 2 more hours left of school to go back to on Monday!Then it is summer until August 26! I am really going to miss my eighth grade teachers!!! Today we launched rockets and watched October Sky, the movie. We were supposed to put and egg in our first rocket but we didn't have one! Seila I know you were gone for the game today but I wanted to tell you how it went. We lost against Othello, about 7 to 18. We did good but also had a lot of errors. Since I am not doing softball, I decided that I would support my buddies in softball by going to their first game. I am glad that I went because they did not have the fields chalked so I helped with that. Both teams lost but it was the first game and they did good. I missed being on the field so much that I asked if i could do the stats for the Royal Middle School Girls Softball team for the 8th graders. Looks like I got the job, I will go to every game and support my friends, Thanks to Mom and Dad and Mrs. Eilers for letting me. I am so excited to be so close to the field.

A group of people have taken Dance classes for 5 weeks! The Lee's, Jenks's, Noftles, Paul and Amy Davies, Even Hebdon, Charisty, Tanner and ME! We all absolutely LOVED them!
Gary and Kathy Miner were teaching us the Ballroom dance and then we learned the Swing. I really like the swing, you are not as, tense, you are free in the swing. I will have to try to get some pictures later.

On Monday December 7 I fell and I hit my mouth on the kitchen table. I broke one of my front teeth and twisted the other tooth. I went in the next day to get a checkup and the doctor put my tooth back in place. I went in on Tuesday December 22 to check if my tooth has discolored, and you could not tell from the front, but from the back after looking at both teeth you could tell it had the pink color to it, on that same day we scheduled an appointment to get my root canal done. I just kept my eyes closed for almost the WHOLE hour. when we were done I had no idea that it took 1 hour. I could hardly talk like a 13 year old. I talked more like a 6 year old because my lip was SO swollen.

For a Young Women value project I was looking through the Personal Progress Book and I saw Good Works #1 and it was about service. I thought of someone that may need a service done for them and I thought of Bryan and Katie Allred. I thought of how their little girl has a heart problem. As my service I decided to made a blanket for her.

As mom and I talked about it we thought it would be a good idea to make one for Jace and Caden as well as Maddi. On Friday, Mom and I went to their house and presented the kids with the blankets. I was so happy. I just had a good feeling about what I did . Here are some pictures of the blankets and the kids. The kids seemed to have enjoyed them.

Skyler got home off his mission. He went to Argetina, Salta. It has been really nice to have him back. He is now helping dad around the farm. The past few weeks has been really nice Kalvin came home and Tyson came home and NOW Skyler. Nels came home a couple of months ago. All in all it has been really good to see all of these young men.

Rodeback Reunion!!!!

On the first day of the reunion, we just stayed at Grandma and Grandpa's house. I got to hold babies and play with my cousins. My Aunt from Texas came up and so I got to see them. We also filled up 250 water balloon's.
On the second day we rented a swimming pool for 2 hours. The swimming pool was so much fun. We had floaty boards that we layed out and ran across them. While they were running they had a ball in there hand and shot it in the basketball hoops that they had. It was so much fun.
On the third day we went to the beach. We played Bocce and had a fire and played in the water and in the sand. It was a little chilly but it was better than nothing. The waves were all so awesome. They were BIG!! But the water is so COLD!! You have to be in their for a while to get used to the COLD WATER!
I can not get the pictures just yet so I will get them later. SORRY!

O.k, I am SO excited for girls camp. Last year was a BLAST!!!!! I want the first year girls to have fun and enjoy the spiritual connections. Don't be SUPER serious, have FUN.
Our theme this year is ICU, eternity maters to day..... Something to do with doctors and medical things. We have our CUTE scrubs. Thanks to Lisa Christensen for getting them. I have a RED top with GRAYISH color bottoms. All of the girls ironed on some little patches that go with the theme. They look so neat. I AM SO EXCITED FOR GIRLS CAMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Greg and Adena just came today and I got home to see them. I love to play with Brayden and Tawnee. The are so cute. Greg and Adena are also cute but do not always want all the attention for themselves. Unlike Tawny and Brayden, Greg and Adena are actually quiet.

My cousins from Idaho came over to visit last night and now we can play!!!! I am so excited!

I had so much fun in Seattle watching Baseball. I have some pictures I will put up later. We walked all over the stadium. But we had a 2 or 3 hour bus ride. GO ICHIRO!!!!!! GO MARINERS!!!!!!! I LOVED to watch the game. It was a tie until the 10th inning. DARN!!

Last night we had a game I did not know about. It was against Othello. We were one point away from a tie. The score was 14 -15. We played a good game.

The Young Men and Young Women were asked to sing during sacrament. the song is "Maybe I Will be There" I love that song. For those who were singing good job we pulled off. The song is so beautilful.

Today we have a softball game at Warden and we will try to do our best on the first game.
I hope we win. Does anyone know why it is called SOFTBALL? The balls are not even soft.

On Sunday Shane and Kyla Christensen were asked to give talks. They did a wonderful job on there talks. I appreciate their work and effort put into them, and i enjoyed hearing them. They were outstanding.

Today Anthony made dinner. YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He made hamburgers. They were really really good. The hamburgers turned out to be juicy.
I have been sick since Wednesday night. I have the flu. I had to stay home from school Thursday and Friday. I normally do not eat anything when I am sick but those were too good to stay away from.

Many of you may know that Michael got his mission call. I am so proud of him. He is going to Fukuoka, Japan. WOW!!!!!!!!!! Michael told mom that he would not open it till Connor was home. So around 4:30 Michael calls and opens the letter, after he reads Fukuoka, Japan. He said, "OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH, NO WAY, JAPAN." In High School he talked of how he would love serving in Japan. He was so excited. Congrats to MICHAEL..!!!!!!

Connor likes to listen to his techno songs. After he hears them he plays them on the piano. I love to hear him make out the sound and try to have it sound the same. He does an amazing job. It is like a guess and check thing. Good job on the piano CONNOR !!!!!!!!!

The High School band had a concert today and did a FABULOUS job. They play so well. I can not believe it. They are AMAZING. As I would say "WAY TO GO BAND GEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I finally decided that I would put my Chinese Checker game board and 3 other games to use. I started to play them with my family. You get the hang of it after you play it more than 2 times. Mom is already starting to get the hang of it and she is really good. She can beat me as fast as you can say BOOM five times. OK so not that fast but she is really GOOD!!!!

Shanna Stakkeland is an OUTSTANDING women. She will always be there for me and I know I can ask her about anything. We are going to sing in church on Easter Sunday and she helped us get the song well learned to help us succeed. How special, she doesn't want us to fail. She wants us to try our hardest do our best, give a 110 %, give all you have. She would encourage to do all the things that I listed and more. THANK YOU SO MUCH SHANNA!! YOU ARE AWESOME!!!!!

Junior Miss was great. 6 people tried out. They all did a wonderful job and were good at what they did. I had a lot of fun watching them last night. The theme was "A GIRLS NIGHT..... OH WHAT A NIGHT!" (70's style.) RAD OR COOLAROONI MAYBE EVEN RADILICIOUS. :)

Chase and I were playing Foosball and he is really good at it. He only has one arm to play the game and can beat me by a lot of points. We all have a lot of fun playing with each other. It is not so much about the person whom you play but the attitude you have towards the person you play against. You should always be happy.
